Transferable Skills
To prepare the PhD students for the competitive job market in science, training in soft skills is offered by various university institutions:
- German courses for PhD students coming from abroad (Language Learning Institute)
- application of software packages, computer programming, numerical techniques (IT Service Center)
- supporting courses for students preparing to enter the job market ("Studium Professionale")
- development and improvement of science-related competencies (Academic Staff Development, ASD)
- gender specific workshopd (Equal Oppurtunities Office, EOO)
